The universal pack features a waterproof rain shield which you can use to cover up your drone whenever it’s misty/foggy out to protect it from moisture (a great thought on their side). I store my batteries and spare parts on the top hard case area and the toolbox in the side compartment while the controller, the FPV gear and my chair goes into the primary compartment.

The backpack has an overall higher quality. It’s well built and has four straps on its back which will hold your drone perfectly onto the backpack. To ensure that the fuselage of your drone will rest on something, the back of the universal drone pack is padded. Moreover, the universal pack has a hard padded pocket above the main section which you can use to carry your remote control.
